Unemployment rates also decline with increasing levels of education, as illustrated in Figure A10.7. These data are provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. 67 As shown, unemployment rates range from 5.6% for those with less than a high school diploma to 1.8% for those at the graduate degree level or higher.
